Hansen is an Order of the Coif graduate of BYU's J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he served
as the Law Review’s editor-in-chief. A former law clerk of Judge J. Clifford Wallace, he served
as chair of the State Bar’s Litigation Section in 1995-96, and was the second editor-in-chief of
California Litigation.
