David Sunby is a shareholder at Habush Habush & Rottier, and

Mr. Sunby’s practice consists of handling general personal injury

Edward J. Vopal received his undergraduate degree in English,
cum laude, from Northern Michigan University in 1991. He
received his juris doctor degree from Valparaiso University
School of Law in 1994, graduating with Senior Honors. Mr. Vopal

the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts

Lincoln K. Murphy is a partner in the law firm of Murphy &

Ralph J. Tease, Jr. is a shareholder and managing partner of
the firm’s Green Bay and Appleton offices. He was born and
raised in Green Bay and is a 1978 graduate of St. Norbert
College. Following his graduation from Marquette University
Law School in 1981 he returned to Green Bay and began his
career as a civil litigation specialist. Mr. Tease currently handles
a wide range of personal injury and wrongful death cases and
has tried cases in courts throughout the State of Wisconsin. The
National Board of Trial Advocacy has certified Mr. Tease as a

James Weis is a shareholder at Habush Habush & Rottier
and the manager of the Rhinelander, Stevens Point, and
Wausau offices. He is licensed to practice in both Wisconsin
and Michigan. Mr. Weis handles all personal injury claims,
including medical malpractice, products liability, motor vehicle
accidents, pharmacy errors, contractor negligence, landowner

CHRISTOPHER E.
Attorney Rogers was born and raised in Wisconsin. After
graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in
Political Science he worked as an advocate for people with
disabilities at a local not-for-profit agency. Mr. Rogers returned
to the University of Wisconsin Law School so he could further his
work to protect and help people with disabilities including those
who have been injured by others. While in law school Mr. Rogers
was a note and comment editor for the Wisconsin Environmental
Law Journal. Attorney Rogers has been with Habush Habush &
Rottier since 1999 and is a shareholder. He is active in a number
of volunteer organizations in Waunakee, where he lives with his
wife and three children.

Joseph M. Troy is an honors graduate of Lawrence University
and the University of Wisconsin Law School. After a long and
distinguished career as a judge, Mr. Troy returned to private
practice with Habush Habush & Rottier in August 2007. Mr. Troy
served as a Circuit Court Judge and as Chief Judge of the Eighth
Judicial District in his 20-year judicial career. In 2004 he was
named Wisconsin Trial Judge of the Year by the American Board
of Trial Advocates. Mr. Troy is a member of the faculty of the
National Judicial College. He served on the Wisconsin Judicial
Civil Jury Instructions Committee for twelve years. In May 2010,
Mr. Troy was elected to the Board of Directors of the State Bar
Litigation Section.

Dan Whetter is a practicing trial lawyer in the State of Wisconsin
and has 34 years of experience in civil litigation. He received his
undergraduate, B.S., degree from the University of Wisconsin –
La Crosse in 1970, with a major in biology and minors in
chemistry and math. He received his Master of Science degree
in biology from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 1974.
He graduated from Oklahoma City School of Law with a J.D. in
1975. He has been recognized by the American Trial Lawyers

2010, and 2011; he has also been recognized in Wisconsin Super
