Randy Canney has devoted his legal career to defending the
accused. After receiving his J.D. from the University of Colorado
in 1988, Mr. Canney is proud to have been a Deputy State
Public Defender in Colorado until 1993. Since then, he has
maintained a solo practice in Denver, emphasizing criminal
defense. Mr. Canney is a former president of Coloradans Against
the Death Penalty and remains active in that organization. In
2005, he received the Jonathan Olom Award from the Colorado
Criminal Defense Bar for remarkable personal sacrifice made

Maureen O’Brien and her partner, former elected District

Scott Robinson is a trial and appellate specialist handling

Karen Steinhauser, J.D., is an award-winning litigator with
extensive trial experience, having served as a Chief Prosecutor
in the Denver District Attorney’s Office and now as a criminal
defense and family law attorney. She specializes in juvenile

allegations, and domestic violence. During her 30 years as a trial

Kevin D. Evans represents clients in complex civil and white
