INJURY ATTORNEYS | RESTORING LIVES
For more than 30 years, Bruce Kehoe and Bill Winingham have dedicated their careers to
representing people badly injured by another’s negligence. The partnership between the
former physical therapist and the past federal prosecutor has resulted in some of Indiana’s
most noteworthy and precedent-setting cases. From the gas explosion at Fort Harrison,
to holding aircraft controllers accountable for aviation fatalities, and securing lives of birth
trauma brain injury, Bruce and Bill have advocated with passion and creativity.
In the last year, Bruce, Bill and attorneys Chris Stevenson and Jon Noyes have settled
difficult cases involving a foreign airplane manufacturer who produced an operating
handbook in which the fuel tank capacity was mislabeled, an allegedly defective face piece
that attached to a firefighter’s breathing apparatus, and a major entertainment provider for
alleged lack of security at an event causing the death of a young father.
Medical malpractice cases settled included a woman who was sent home from a Tennessee
hospital with a sunburn diagnosis as she was suffering from a heart attack, and a 9-year-old
girl who suffered bilateral laryngeal nerve injuries and permanent airway deficits during
thyroid surgery. WKW continues to work to benefit injured people who cannot fight for
themselves. WKW assists lawyers across Indiana on a referral or co-counsel basis.
WKW not only looks to help clients, but its lawyers also find ways to support their local
community through charitable organizations such as Gleaners Food Bank, Indiana Coalition
Against Domestic Violence, the Joseph Maley Foundation, Starfish Initiative and The Villages.
