Michele R. Fisher is a partner at Nichols Kaster, PLLP whose
practice is primarily dedicated to national wage-and-hour class
and collective action litigation. She has represented thousands
of employees seeking to recover overtime, minimum wage,
and commission payments. She also represents employees in
other employment matters such as employment discrimination,
retaliation, and sexual harassment. Ms. Fisher has spoken
at numerous conferences and training sessions on topics
such as wage-and-hour litigation, sexual harassment, and
electronic discovery.

GENERAL LI TIGATION
Matthew Morgan practices in the area of employment litigation.
He handles a wide variety of employment-related matters
involving wage-and-hour violations under federal and state
laws for multi-plaintiff collective and class actions, severance
and separation agreements, sexual harassment, discrimination,
breach of duty of loyalty, unfair competition, and breach
of contract involving non-competition and non-solicitation
provisions. Matt has also taught representation skills to
first-year law students and advanced advocacy to second-and third-year law students. Matt has lectured on various
litigation-related topics, is an active member of the bar, and
serves as a mentor for law students.
EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION: PLAINTIFF
Rachhana T. Srey is currently litigating several class and
collective action cases on behalf of employees for unpaid
overtime and minimum wage and has represented thousands
of workers since joining Nichols Kaster, PLLP in 2004.
Additionally, she has handled a variety of types of employment
cases including retaliation under the FMLA, breach of contract,
and discrimination claims based on pregnancy, gender, race,
national origin, religion, and age. She is a member of the ABA’s
Section of Labor and Employment Law and a member of
the National Employment Lawyers Association. Ms. Srey has
spoken both nationally and locally on topics related to wage-and-hour claims, FLSA, and discovery in civil litigation.

Ms. Appelhof practices primarily in the areas of family and

custody, custody, child support, termination of parental rights,
order for protection, harassment, civil commitment, D WI, traffic
offenses, and assaults. Ms. Appelhof served as President of
the First District Bar Association in 2009-2010. Ms. Appelhof
volunteers regularly for Legal Assistance in both Washington
and Dakota Counties. She has assisted many low income clients
from the Lewis House in Hastings and Apple Valley, Minnesota.
Ms. Appelhof graduated from William Mitchell College of Law.

Naomi Garfinkel is an associate with Katz, Manka, Teplinsky,
Graves & Sobol, Ltd. She devotes her practice exclusively to
family law. Ms. Garfinkel received her undergraduate degree
from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and she is a member
of the inaugural class of University of St. Thomas School of Law.
Ms. Garfinkel has trial and appellate experience on all family
law issues, including custody, parenting time, child support,
spousal maintenance, and property valuation and division.
She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and
the Hennepin County Association. Ms. Garfinkel has been a
volunteer attorney with the MSBA/Hennepin County Pro Se/
Pro Bono Project (Limited Scope Legal Services) since its

Samantha Gemberling’s family law practice is focused on
helping clients navigate through difficult and emotional legal
challenges including dissolution, child custody disputes,
paternity, child abuse and neglect, and juvenile delinquency.
She also helps clients grow their families through adoption,
third party custody, and grandparent custody. She has argued
before the Minnesota Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. She
is a trained Parenting Consultant. Ms. Gemberling is an active
member of the Minnesota family law practice community and
the MSBA, RCBA, and Minnesota Women Lawyers. She was
admitted to practice in 1997 and is licensed in Minnesota and
Arizona. She is a co-founder of a local organization to promote
collegiality among family law attorneys and was recognized in
the 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 Minnesota Rising Stars lists.
Jennifer Jameson practices family law and some general
litigation. She was inspired to work in family law while interning
in college, where she witnessed the difference that quality
representation could make in people’s lives. Jennifer enjoys
being able to use the knowledge she has gained in over ten
years of practice to help people resolve their differences or,
if necessary, take their case to court. She assists clients in all
aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, child
support, post-decree matters, and premarital agreements.
She is a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114 and a parenting
consultant. Jennifer volunteers for the law clinics at Tubman.
Maureen Lord Mohr earned her J.D. from William Mitchell
College of Law in 2006 after a decade-long career negotiating
