Jeff DeGree has been practicing law exclusively in the area of
criminal defense for 20 years. He and his law firm aggressively

Deborah Ellis has been a criminal defense lawyer for 28 years.
She has tried well over 70 criminal jury trials in Minnesota,
Wisconsin, and federal court; she has also written and argued
over 100 appeals in criminal cases. In addition to criminal
defense, Ms. Ellis has defended numerous forfeiture cases
including a successful defense of the government’s attempt to
forfeit the Minneapolis clubhouse of the Hell’s Angels. Ms. Ellis

Brock Hunter is a criminal defense attorney with over ten years of

currently serves as President of the MACDL, after serving as
their Legislative Chair from 2005 to 2011. A former Army Recon
Scout, Brock has been nationally recognized for his work, both in
and outside the courtroom, on behalf of psychologically-injured
combat veterans charged with crimes. Brock led passage of
veterans sentencing legislation in Minnesota that has since
been cited by the U.S. Supreme Court and served as a model

Richmond H. McCluer, Jr., is a partner with Price, McCluer &
Plachecki. He has been lead counsel in over 250 jury trials,
including charges of homicide, robbery, criminal sexual

clients as Chief Trial Lawyer for the Third Judicial District Public

murder, assault, felony drug crimes, criminal sexual conduct,
theft, and other charges. Eric represents individuals accused

cases all over the state with primary emphasis on the metro
