Mr. May represents plaintiffs in their claims of workplace
discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wage-and-hour,
and whistleblower violations. He also represents employees
and executives in non-compete and severance matters. Mr. May
has successfully litigated several matters as first or second
chair, including a $3.5 million breach-of-contract verdict and a
$1.5 million sexual harassment settlement. Mr. May’s work also
clarified an employee’s right to receive attorney’s fees, statutory
penalties, and prejudgment interest under Minnesota’s
wage-and-hour statutes. Mr. May is the past President and
a board member of the Minnesota Chapter of the National
