Jon Breyer is a partner at Fruth, Jamison & Elsass, PLLC and an
MSBA Certified Civil Trial Law Specialist. He focuses his practice
on business litigation matters with a particular emphasis on
shareholder, employment, and complex business disputes,
and securities litigation. Many of these cases involve difficult
and fiercely litigated allegations against employees, officers,
directors, and shareholders of businesses. Jon represents clients
from many different industries in all types of commercial
disputes in the courts and before state and federal agencies,
including FINRA. He has extensive first-chair trial experience,
trying numerous cases to a successful verdict. Jon is a graduate
of Lehigh University and a 2000 graduate of William Mitchell
College of Law.

SECURITIES LITIGATION
Adam Gillette primarily practices business litigation in
such areas as breach of contract and shareholder disputes.
Mr. Gillette also handles a variety of labor and employment
law cases including employment discrimination and retaliation,
sexual harassment, NASD arbitration agreements, and
breach of contract. Mr. Gillette has tried to verdict as first
or second chair many cases including breach of contract,
breach of fiduciary duty, sexual harassment, age discrimination,
failure to pay wages, defamation, and tortious interference
claims. Mr. Gillette is a former president and board member
of Minnesota NELA, the Minnesota affiliate of the National
Employment Lawyers Association.

APPELLATE
John Neve focuses his practice on civil litigation, representing
businesses and individuals in a range of commercial,
employment, and real estate disputes in state and federal court
and arbitrations. He has successfully litigated claims involving
breach of contract, trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty,
tortious interference with contracts, securities fraud, bad faith,
misrepresentation, negligence, conversion, and foreclosure.
He also has extensive appellate experience, having argued
numerous cases before the Minnesota Court of Appeals. He
received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota, where he
now teaches advocacy and legal writing as an adjunct professor.
He is admitted to the state and federal courts of Minnesota,
the Eight Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States
Supreme Court.

E. Michelle Drake represents consumers and employees in
both individual cases and class actions. Whether the claims
involve a mortgage or a false product representation at the
supermarket, Drake is committed to ensuring that corporations
follow the law. She handles fraud and unfair practices cases,
as well as cases arising under the Truth in Lending Act and
the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection
Act. Drake’s employment practice focuses on the Fair Labor
Standards Act and state law equivalents. Drake represents
clients in state and federal courts across the country. She
graduated from Harvard Law School in 2001 and received her
Master’s degree from Oxford University in 1998.

Adina R. Bergstrom is a senior associate attorney with
Hammargren & Meyer, P.A. Her construction law practice is
largely focused on first- and third-party insurance coverage
litigation and surety bond claims. Adina also represents
homeowners, associations, and commercial construction
owners, contractors, and subcontractors in all types of
construction litigation and transactional work. Adina is a
member of AWC, MWL, the MSBA’s Construction Law and
Civil Litigation Sections, and the ABA Tort and Insurance
Practice Section. She has presented at seminars on a variety of
construction and insurance-related topics. Adina received her
law degree cum laude from Hamline University School of Law
and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Augsburg College.

Jennifer A. Thompson is a shareholder with Hammargren &
Meyer, P.A., where her practice is largely devoted to
representing homeowners and associations in all aspects of
the residential construction process – from contract formation
to post-performance claims and litigation. She also assists
associations with general business matters and has experience
representing owners, contractors, subcontractors, and sureties
in the commercial construction arena. Jennifer is actively
involved in trade organizations, including NAWIC, AWC, and
CAI, and is a council member on the MSBA’s Construction
Law Section. Jennifer was recently appointed as an attorney
Commissioner on the Minneapolis Civil Rights Commission,
where, among other things, she serves on the Contract
Compliance Committee.
