Bruce Edge and Melanie Lander limit their
practice to criminal defense, with an emphasis
on DUI and drug defense. This allows Edge
Law Firm to provide individualized and detail-oriented defense to its clients.
Bruce is one of only 45 attorneys in the U.S.
who is board-certified in DUI defense by the
National College for DUI Defense according
to ABA guidelines. Edge Law Firm teaches
DUI defense techniques statewide, nationally
and internationally, including CLEET police
academies and recent sessions with the National
College for DUI Defense held at Harvard.
Bruce and Melanie graduated from the Tulsa
Citizens Police Academy. Recently, Melanie had a
first-degree murder dismissed and Bruce earned
a not-guilty verdict for first-degree manslaughter.
The firm co-owns the only two Intoxilyzer 8000s
held by private attorneys in Oklahoma.
Edge is a director for the Oklahoma Criminal
Defense Lawyers Association and was recently
selected as a fellow in the Litigation Counsel
of America. He is listed in The Best Lawyers
in America and co-authored Oklahoma DUI
