In patent litigation, we understand getting value for a client’s patent (or patent portfolio) can be a complex endeavor. We consider our cases thoroughly and structure each case to maximize recovery while controlling costs. Moreover, we often consider whether additional patent coverage is necessary before engaging in enforcement. Other strategies may involve analyzing the marketplace to determine whether the opportunity for enforcement is ripe, whether to pursue one or many targets, or whether we should consider broadening or limiting claim coverage. All these considerations are worth exploring as part of an overall enforcement strategy.
