Rachel Black is a partner at Susman Godfrey LLP. Her practice

patent infringement, breach of contract, fraud, unfair business
practices, and others. Before joining Susman Godfrey, Ms. Black
was a federal law clerk for the Hon. Robert R. Beezer in the Ninth
Circuit and the Hon. Alan C. Kay in the U.S. District Court of
Hawaii. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Cornell Law
School, where she was an editor on the Cornell Law Review. She is
the President and a founder of the Mother Attorneys Mentoring
Association of Seattle, which has over 500 members and has
now branched out to other cities, including San Diego and Austin.
