Robert Ivanhoe is Chairman of the New York office, Chair

30 years. Mr. Privitera is a frequent author and public speaker on
environmental law, land use, and regulatory matters. He now
serves as President of the firm. John is also on the New York
State Bar Association House of Delegates.
With over 30 years of experience, Richard K. Books has devoted
his law practice to areas related to oil and gas. His broad
experience in the field includes administration, transactional
matters, and oil and gas litigation. His expertise in matters
before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission is acknowledged
not only by other members of the bar, but by those in the oil and
gas industry as well. A past President of the Oklahoma Mineral

Paul Bucco is a founding partner of Davis, Bucco & Ardizzi. During
his 25 years of experience as an attorney, Paul has focused his

Ron Allen has practiced law in the areas of real estate,
environmental law, construction, and corporate and business
planning since his admission to the Washington State Bar
Association in 1990. Ron represents real estate developers,
construction companies, banks, title and liability insurance
companies, commercial landlords, and tenants in a broad
variety of real estate matters. Ron has represented buyers,
sellers, and developers of properties with known and
suspected environmental conditions in negotiating with
regulatory authorities, managing remediations, and allocating
responsibility among parties. He has also represented
commercial lenders and borrowers in the full range of project
and permanent financing and defeasance transactions.

Real estate, land use, and environmental law are the primary
focus of Brian’s practice. His clients include private, public, and
non-profit entities. Brian has appeared before legislative bodies,
hearing examiners, state boards (EFSEC, EHO, GMHB), superior
courts in eastern and western Washington, and appellate
courts in Washington. He is a frequent seminar speaker.
Representative cases: Dash Point Village Association v. Exxon,
86 Wn. App. 596 (1997); J&B Development v. King County,
100 Wn. 2d 299 (1983); Association of Rural Residents v. Kitsap
County, 141 Wn. 2d 185 (1999). Brian has also been an adjunct
faculty member at the University of Washington Undergraduate
Foster School of Business. He graduated from Georgetown
Law Center. He attended Dartmouth College and UC Berkeley.

Tom Peterson helps clients acquire, transfer, secure, and
manage real estate. Tom has practiced in real estate, land use,
and commercial litigation since 1986. He represents property
owners, lenders, developers, homeowners’ associations,
title companies, and real estate professionals in real estate
transactions, title claims, foreclosures, purchase-and-sale and
lease disputes, condominium matters, and land use issues. He
negotiates and drafts all types of real estate agreements, has
successfully tried jury and nonjury trials in federal and state
courts, and has argued and won many appeals. He served as
a law clerk for Ninth Circuit Judge Thomas Tang and as a legal
intern for the U.S. Attorney. He is a graduate of Yale College and
the University of Oregon School of Law (Law Review).
