Dan has practiced in the areas of antitrust, consumer protection,
and securities fraud since 1997. He has worked on numerous
complex litigations over the years helping to secure hundreds
of millions of dollars in recoveries on behalf of small business
and consumer clients. Dan is active in several bar associations
and organizations. He currently serves as a Vice-President for
the Eighth Circuit with the Federal Bar Association, Chair of the
Antitrust Law Section of the Minnesota Bar Association, and as
President of The Committee to Support the Antitrust Laws. In
addition to presenting at various legal seminars, he has testified
before the Federal Rules Committee regarding proposed changes
to the discovery rules and before the Minnesota legislature on
competition law on behalf of the American Antitrust Institute.

After clerking for a federal appellate judge, Mr. Ayling has
enjoyed an active business litigation practice for 30 years. He
has taken and defended appeals in most substantive areas
of civil and criminal law. A number of his cases have been
the subject of national comment, including Metropolitan Sports
Facilities Commission v. Minnesota Twins Partnership, 638 N. W.2d
214 (Minn. App. 2002) (upholding injunction against Major League
Baseball’s attempt to eliminate Minnesota Twins franchise); and
Shea v. Esensten, 107 F.3d 625 (8th Cir. 1997) (establishing ERISA
plan administrator’s affirmative duty to disclose managed care
incentives against specialist referrals).

John Neve focuses his practice on civil litigation, representing

Jeff practices in the areas of civil rights, personal injury, and
general civil litigation. He was named a 2013 Attorney of the Year
by Minnesota La wyer for his work on a $3.07 million police brutality
wrongful death, the second largest police brutality settlement in
Minnesota history. Jeff was also part of a team of class counsel
