Jocelyn Burton has 25 years of experience and has served
as counsel of record in cases resulting in over 20 published
federal court decisions. From 1994 to 2005, Ms. Burton was
an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the
Northern District of California. Ms. Burton has litigated over
80 civil appeals before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Burton has litigated over 100 cases involving claims of
various types of discrimination, including age, race, religion,
disability, sex, and national origin, and harassment and
retaliation cases. During her tenure at the U.S. Attorney’s Office,
Ms. Burton served as both deputy chief and chief of the Civil
Division. Ms. Burton received her B. A. degree from Wake Forest
University and her J. D. from the University of Chicago.

Mercedes Colwin is the managing partner of Gordon &

Randall is a managing member of Mazursky Constantine

Brian S. Cousin is a partner at Dentons, where he heads the
